2Blades Group

The 2Blades group harnesses natural plant diversity and advanced genomic technologies to develop durable genetic resistance against major crop diseases, such as Asian Soybean Rust (ASR), in close collaboration with industry partners. Their current priority is delivering ASR-resistant soybean varieties tailored for smallholder farmers in Africa.

The group is led by Dr Kamil Witek and is staffed by an international team of passionate and committed scientists whose goal is to advance durable genetic solutions to crop disease in order to secure global food supplies.
