Bio

I am interested in unravelling the molecular mechanisms underlying plant-microbe interactions. My research investigates how plants perceive and ward off microbial invaders, relying on their innate immune system. Here, I aim to understand how the intracellular receptors, which mediate the second layer of plant immunity, contribute to cell-surface receptor-mediated immunity, which form the first player of plant immunity.
