Bio

I am fascinated by how plants withstand environmental challenges.

In Santa Fe, Argentina, my research focused on how Arabidopsis thaliana responds to warm temperatures, uncovering the role of epigenetic modifications—specifically DNA methylation—in regulating this process.

Now, at TSL, I am eager to delve into the dynamic world of plant-pathogen interactions. My work will centre on two key areas: bioengineering immune receptors for disease resistance and deepening the knowledge of how sensor and helper NLRs interact within immune networks to mediate plant immunity.
