Bio

I am interested in the interactions between plants and pathogens.

Before joining the lab, my research mainly focused on the early immune responses that plants mount upon pathogen recognition.

My current work explores how succulent plants adapt to extreme environments, with the broader aim of addressing the challenges posed by climate change.
