Bio
I am fascinated by molecular interactions between plants and the pathogens and pests that threaten them.
Previously, my research explored downstream interactions and defence activation in the INR immune pathway in response to caterpillar herbivory of legumes.
My current work aims to identify NLR-effector pairs and understand the molecular basis of their recognition. I hope this work helps to advance our understanding of plant immunity and supports the development of crops with more robust disease resistance.
