Bio
I am broadly interested in plant–pathogen interactions. During my PhD, I investigated the relationship between Vicia faba and the parasitic plant Orobanche foetida, integrating experimental and computational approaches.
At TSL, I explore NLR immune receptor interactions with pathogen effectors. My goal is to discover novel NLR genes with the potential to improve crop resilience against diseases.
Beyond my research, I am dedicated to open science as co-organizer of the Tunis R User Group and a Carpentries Instructor with Bioconductor, promoting the use of R in bioinformatics.
