With
a background in discovering and characterizing new signalling proteins in the
carotenoid pathway in rice, I decided to shift my focus to another fascinating
area of plant signalling: plant immunity.
Now, at TSL, my research focuses on engineering NLRs to find quick and reliable
ways to counteract Phytophthora infestans in potato.
Beyond my studies, I am passionate about promoting open and accessible science,
especially for people with fewer resources. I am always happy to chat and
exchange ideas!
