Bio
My career objective is to become an expert plant pathologist, armed with sufficient knowledge and skills to protect plants from ever-evolving groups of pathogens. Previously, I characterised the cytochrome b gene in Alternaria solani (Early blight of tomato) to detect mutations associated with azoxystrobin resistance.
I am optimistic that my stay at TSL will enrich my understanding of plant microbe interactions at molecular level and the use of modern technologies in plant disease research.
