I am interested in how plants sense different environmental factors and respond to these challenges. During my Ph.D. study, I mainly worked on the biochemical mechanism of how plants respond to ethylene through genetics and biochemical analyses. Now at TSL, my goal is to understand how the paired NLR receptors RPS4/RRS1 are activated upon effector recognition and output the immune signals to trigger defence.
