The 2Blades Group

I am interested in understanding how plant pathogens evolve to adapt to its host plants. My previous works focused on the molecular/genetic mechanisms underlying the host specificity between the host plants and hemibiotrophic fungal pathogens.

In the 2Blades group, I am involved in the project to understand the (effector) biology of the biotrophic fungal pathogen, Phakopsora pachyrhizi, which causes Asian Soybean Rust disease on wide range of legume species.
