Mr William Jackson

Researcher
Matthew Moscou Group

I am interested in the mechanisms driving non-host resistance to plant pathogens in cereals – particularly the barley-wheat stripe rust (Puccinia striiformis f.sp.tritici) interaction. I plan to investigate this fascinating and important phenomenon using bioinformatic, molecular biology and quantitative genetic approaches.
