Visiting Scientist
Jonathan Jones Group

I am interested in unravelling the mechanisms behind plant genetic diversity. This helps me to understand the interactions between plant genotypes and microbes, thereby developing more durable disease resistant crops.

During my MSc at Wageningen University, I worked on finding resistant genes against potato wart disease Synchytrium endobioticum.
