Dr Mary Tetlow

Postdoctoral Scientist
Silke Robatzek Group

The overall aim of my research has focussed on investigating the interactions between plants and pathogens. My postgraduate research project looked at the interaction between a Hyaloperonospora arabidopsidis (Hpa) effector with an Arabidopsis thaliana protein involved in the abscisic acid (ABA) signalling pathway. My current work in the Robatzek group alongside Dr. Michaela Kopischke will investigate a putative regulator of the endomembrane trafficking pathway. This will involve both cell biology approaches and biochemical analysis of the interaction partners of this putative regulator in order to determine its role in the pathway and the immune response.
