Read moreI am interested in improving the understanding of host-pathogen interactions. My research aim is to advance the current understanding of how pathogens invade plants to cause disease and how these plants perceive and respond to these invading pathogens. My ultimate research goal is to use this information to develop crops with durable resistance. My current project focuses on how NLR receptors recognize pathogen effectors and mediate host resistance.
