I am interested in investigating the evolutionary molecular battle between plant immunity and pathogenic microorganisms. I have previously worked on projects investigating if circadian rhythms affect Neonectria ditissima and Verticillium dahliae virulence. During my undergraduate project I also investigated antifungal metabolic resistance of European ash trees to the ash dieback pathogenic fungus.
Here at TSL, I am working with Dr Michelle Hulin on NUDIX domain effectors in Pseudomonas syringae.
