I am interested in plant-pathogen interaction, and especially in signalling after pathogen sensing to induce plant immune responses. During my PhD, I focused on MAPK cascade-mediated signalling pathway to understand how plants trigger hypersensitive response (HR) including ROS burst and localized cell death.

My current project focuses on understanding molecular mechanism how NLR proteins sense cognate effectors and initiate downstream signaling to induce HR.
