I am interested in studying plant-pathogen interaction and particularly in understanding the molecular mechanisms of disease resistance in grasses. This was the main driving force for joining Matt’s group in TSL as Postdoctoral Scientist where my work will focus on unravelling the molecular mechanisms of exocytic trafficking in immunity.

During my PhD, my work focused on developing novel genomics approach that facilitates the rapid identification of agriculturally important genes in cereals and performing megabase scale comparative analysis in wheat.
