Bio

My research aims to uncover novel virulence strategies of ‘Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus’ (CLas), a phloem-colonizing bacterium associated with the most devastating citrus disease, Huanglongbing (HLB). Specifically, I am interested in the roles of secreted proteins in HLB disease progression.
