My primary research interest is plant biotechnology. Genetic engineering is something that I regard as a great tool for both crop improvement and secondary metabolites or proteins production. Therefore, I am also interested in synthetic biology and other projects based on plants that can be applied to agriculture and all branches of industry.

At TSL I’m working on introducing exogenous domains into NB-LRR proteins.
