Postdoctoral position in the Zipfel Group to study phosphorylation of plant receptor kinases
A two-year postdoctoral position is available to study immune signalling in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, with a specific focus on the role of receptor kinase phosphorylation.
Candidates should be highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in signaling and biochemistry, a PhD degree together with significant experience in biochemistry and/or proteomics, which can be demonstrated by previous first-authored publications on the topic.
Salary will be within the UEA Research and Analogous staff Grade 7 scale at between £32,004 and £38,183 p.a.; the appointment level will reflect qualifications, skills, knowledge and achievements. The position is offered initially for 2 years.
