Post-doctoral Research position
A postdoctoral position is available for 7 months from June 1st 2013 on an ERC-funded project to investigate the molecular basis of Arabidopsis coevolution with the generalist plant pathogen Albugo candida. The successful applicant will work with a team to complete map-based cloning of several different Arabidopsis resistance genes against this pathogen. Experience in Arabidopsis molecular genetics would be an advantage.

Candidates should be highly motivated individuals with a PhD degree together with a background in plant molecular biology, genetics or a closely related field. Salary will be within the UEA Research and Analogous staff Grade 7 scale at between £30,424 and £36,298 per annum. Appointment level will reflect qualifications, skills, knowledge and achievements.
